Seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead all day-to-day and strategic functions for a premier mixed-use property. This role oversees maintenance, capital projects, infrastructure, and grounds, ensuring the property operates safely, efficiently, and at the highest visual and service standards.

 

As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Operations partners cross-functionally with Public Safety, Guest Experience, Leasing, Development, and IT to deliver an exceptional tenant and guest experience while protecting the long-term value of the asset.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team overseeing maintenance, operations, infrastructure, and landscaping.

  • Manage 24/7 property operations and preventative maintenance programs across large-scale mixed-use facilities.

  • Oversee capital projects — from HVAC, roofing, and lighting to major infrastructure and environmental initiatives.

  • Partner with Leasing and Development on tenant buildouts, renovations, and new construction within a live environment.

  • Manage vendor contracts, budgets, and capital planning to ensure operational excellence and cost control.

  • Foster a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement across all departments.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in operations, facilities, or property management — ideally in large campus or mixed-use environments.

  • Proven success leading managers/supervisors and 24/7 operational teams.

  • Strong background in capital planning, budgeting, and vendor management.

  • Collaborative leader with exceptional communication, organization, and analytical skills.
