Senior Leasing Manager
REMOTE – open to candidates nationwide, so long as there is a retail asset in that market.
We are seeking a Senior Leasing Manager to drive leasing strategy and financial performance across a portfolio of retail shopping centers, with a primary focus on national retail tenant leasing. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in open-air and outdoor shopping centers, national tenant relationships, and the ability to enhance asset value through smart merchandising and deal-making.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead permanent leasing efforts to maximize occupancy, revenue, and long-term asset value.
· Strategically merchandise centers with a mix of national, regional, and local retailers.
· Negotiate LOIs and leases, evaluate tenant financials, and manage deal flow from prospecting through execution.
· Prepare lease proposals, gather tenant information, and evaluate tenant qualifications.
· Carrying out more difficult leasing assignments such as the leasing of malls undergoing renovations and/or redevelopments, big box leasing, and/or working with high-profile tenants
· Partner with legal and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely lease documentation.
· Travel required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; CLS a plus.
Minimum 5+ years of national retail leasing experience with strong relationships among national chains.
Proven success in sourcing, pitching, and closing deals with national retailers.
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills; highly organized self-starter.
